BOBO Social is the first solo project from talented operators Michael Benson and Jacinta Maddison. Michael has over twenty years experience in the restaurant industry with previous credits including Sticky Fingers, Palm Court Brasserie and Supperclub London. Jacinta has worked for 10 years in the media and advertising industry and brings a wealth of interior design knowledge to the concept. The pair have been friends for 4 years and shared a mutual love for eating out. Finally deciding to take the on the restaurant world themselves, BOBO Social was happily born.
BOBOs dedicated burger menu will be made with rare-breed beef from Sussex, such as Dexter, Longhorn and Red Lincoln. For BOBOs unique taste, the burgers will be cooked in a Kopa Charcoal Oven which sears meat instantly at temperatures as high as 300°C, ensuring it retains its succulence. The oven will burn Lumpwood Charcoal along with single species woods such as Cherry, English Plum and Hickory to ensure perfectly smoked meat every time. The burger menu will include delights such as a Lobster & Crab Burger, a Peanut Butter Burger, a Waygu Burger with Ogleshield Cheese, Confit Shitake Mushrooms, and Truffle Shavings, plus a weekly changing Guest Burger created at the Experiment Burger Society. Once a week, up to 20 people can enjoy an evening with the Head Chef, sipping on cocktails, getting their hands dirty creating burgers with a range of exotic and tasty meats, such as, Kangaroo, Venison, Ostrich and of course BOBOs classic Rare-Breed Beef.
For those seeking a lighter alternative, BOBO Social will serve up a mouthwatering selection of Small Plates, including: Sea Bass Ceviche, with pomegranate, chilli, chive and lime dressing, Fillet Steak Strips, with avocado, chive and chipotle salsa topped with truffle shavings, British Feta & Marinated Watermelon, with heritage tomatoes, rocket and basil oil.
Bring on the burger! This time it's a three course affair, with Bobo Social pushing the patty to the next level. Think fois gras, wagyu beef and even peanut butter flavours. With an experimental 'guest' burger each week, prepare for even more surprises. The menu isn't restricted simply to burgers however and you can find small plates to surround your burger and dessert cocktails for that extra sweet finish to the meal.
